Welcome to SIMvariants. The Hot Date Patch made by The Sims English(US) Versions only. An International version will follow soon. The long awaited patch to fix the many bugs in Hot Date. Here’s what it fixes: Bay Window will now appear in the game. The Old Prude will be seen on all the lots. Cuddling was having problems in the booth and both couches. They would get stuck. This has been fixed. In the booth, your date could get stuck in dining and would never move. You can now cancel out of dining if this happens, and there is no longer a permanent game hang. Items and Actions were dropping out of the Sims Que, this has been fixed. There were a few clothing rack random crashes, these have been fixed! The Food carts will no longer advertise so highly causing the townies to flock there and then just hang out there without ordering food. Interactions will be available on Townies Downtown. The Unleashed Patch, Made by The Sims The Unleashed patch will fix the following issues: Flooding under objects - with a single object exception, floods no longer spread under objects. Buyable skins (from Vacation Island and Downtown Lots) - Sims will once again retain the pajamas or swimsuit they purchased Downtown or on Vacation. Sitting to watch TV - Adult and child Sims again sit to watch TV. 180° spins at the end of routes - this has been improved compared to the shipping version of The Sims Unleashed. Memory leaks - we have fixed many memory leaks and improved longer-term gameplay performance. Web Template display fixes: Sims of both species now display proper gender in web pages "Human" Sims no longer display pet statistics in the "Stats" page Web pages now launching when clicking the "view web pages button" in the neighborhood screen for Finnish, Danish, and Norwegian installs Important notes: There are still known issues with incorrect skill statistics being displayed for human Sims in the web templates (though files still function properly within the game) in all languages. This is not fixed or fixable in this patch. Additionally, several foreign languages contain missing strings in the web templates (they will display "needs translation" in those instances). The patch cannot fix these remaining bugs (which do not impact gameplay, merely the web templates displayed). Please do NOT interrupt the installation of the patch. The Livin Large Patch, Made by The Sims Livin Large Pest Control! Are your Sims tired of those pesky roaches coming so often? Well worry no more the Livin Large patch is here! This patch contains several fixes to bugs discovered since the original release of The Sims Livin' Large. The Sims Deluxe Edition Patch, Made by The Sims The Sims Deluxe Edition patch will fix the following issues: Many memory leaks have been fixed. This will alleviate game stability problems when playing the game for an extended number of hours. We sped up a number of game processes for Windows XP users, which means they will spend less time waiting and more time playing the game. Corrupted skins will no longer crash the game. Invalid skins will now show up in the game as a plain white skin. Load times have been improved for all systems getting users into the game quicker than ever. Important notes: If you have Unleashed, or a subsequent expansion pack, you do not need to install this patch. Please note that you must run The Sims at least once before running the Sims Deluxe patch. The Phone Patch made by The Sims Sims Plus! Downtown Phone Replacer. Have you deleted your phone downtown? Sims can not get back home without it. This will create a new one if there aren't any on a Downtown Lot. Enter the lot in Downtown Build Mode, place the phones where you want them ( they will be near the corners of the lot ) and save the lot.
